On May 2, 2025, officers from the Corning Police Department executed a probation search at a residence on E. Hazel St. in Corning.
During the search, officers discovered a glass pipe used for methamphetamine ingestion.
Russell Cox, 64, was taken into custody and transported to the Clay detention center.
Mr. Cox is charged with 5-64-443 Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On the same day, Clay County District Judge Dan Stidham found probable cause to charge Mr. Cox with the aforementioned offense and set his bond at $10,000 cash or surety.
