Fredrick Dean Cullum, 81, of Delaplaine, died May 1, 2025, in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.
Born March 9, 1944, in Delaplaine, son of the late, Dean and Marie Ragsdale Cullum. Fredrick was united in marriage to Brenda Kay Jones on September 28, 1965. He was a farmer and a family man.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Brenda in 2016; a son, Harvey Cullum; two brothers, Jerry and Bill; and four sisters, Geraldine, Willene, Pauline, and Pearline.
Survivors include his three sons, Charlie (Genea) Cullum of O’Kean, Freddy (Candance) Cullum of O’Kean, and Jonathan Cullum of Walnut Ridge; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; an adopted daughter, Carol Ballard of O’Kean; two brothers, Gene (Diane) Cullum of O’Kean, and Jody Woodard of Stokes; a sister, Murlene Lowry of California; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Monday, May 5, 2025, at 2 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Bro. Gene Cullum officiating. Pallbearers will be Cheyanne Jones, Austin, Jeffery, and Jeremy Cullum, Eric and Bobby Woodard. Interment will follow in the Sharum Cemetery near Pocahontas.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel in Hoxie.
