Bonda Sue Duckworth 85, of Walnut Ridge passed away December 11, 2024, at her residence.
Born March 25, 1939, in Walnut Ridge, she is the daughter of the late Willie and Claudia Williams Brewer. She was united in marriage to Teddy Joe Duckworth on April 19, 1956. Bonda enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren, and loved collecting things, especially baby dolls. She was an active member of the Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Joe Duckworth; three sisters, Imogene Blanchard, Pearline Shewmaker, and Fern Urban; seven brothers, Gent, Eugene, Willie, Willis, J.R., Hershal and Roy Lee Brewer.
Survivors include three daughters, Libby (John) Durham and Mary Davis all of Walnut Ridge, and Debbie Duckworth of Hoxie; five sons, Teddy (Mary) Duckworth of Hoxie, John (Delinda) and Jeff (Rhonda) Duckworth all of Walnut Ridge, Mike (Jeana) Duckworth of Cloverbend, and Greg (Kelly) Duckworth of Pocahontas; nine grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Friday, December 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Bryan Chapel with Bro. Roger Tidwell officiating. Pallbearers will be her sons, and son-n-law. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 PM till the service.
