Luther Davis Brown, 80, of Imboden passed from this life on Monday, November 25, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born in Imboden on December 20, 1943, to the late Luke and Audrey (Davis) Brown. He was united in marriage to Brenda Alline Frakes on December 18, 1965, in Imboden. Luther was retired from Waterloo Industries in Pocahontas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Imboden.
In addition to his parents, Luther was preceded in death by brothers, Richard Brown and Ray Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Alline Brown of the home; daughters, Sherie Middlecoff (Carry) of Imboden and Kim Slusser (Kevin) of Walnut Ridge; brothers, Glen Brown (Jeanette) of Springfield, Missouri and Bernice Zaiss (Terry) of Grandview, Missouri; grandchildren, Travis Middlecoff, Tanner Middlecoff, Blaine Middlecoff, Casey Middlecoff, Kel Slusser, and Kyle Slusser; and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, from 12 until 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Imboden with funeral services immediately following at 2 p.m. Frank Casillas will officiate. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery in Imboden under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
