Two people were arrested after police found approximately one pound of methamphetamine in a Pocahontas home.

Police conducted a search warrant on June 21st at a residence on South Park Street in Pocahontas that belonged to Brandon Swann, age 40.

A media release stated that officers found approximately one pound of meth during the search.

Law enforcement arrested Swann and Danny Isreal age 34 of Ravenden, who was also at the residence at the time of the search. Pocahontas police discovered approximately one pound of methamphetamine.

Swann was arrested and charged with:
Trafficking of a controlled substance
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Maintaining a drug premises
Tampering with physical evidence
Proximity to certain facilities

Isreal is charged with:
Trafficking of a controlled substance
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Tampering with physical evidence
Fleeing on foot
