Happy June, gardeners!

Summer is just around the corner! June brings longer days, ample sunshine, and the perfect conditions for plants to thrive. However, it also introduces scorching temperatures and the need for diligent care.

Some produce you can plant this month include: edamame, watermelon, cantaloupe, basil, tomatoes, summer and winter squash, peppers, cucumbers, snap and Lima beans, southern peas, collards, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes.

Some flowers you can plant this month include: daisies, sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, marigolds, rudbeckia, coneflower, lantana, and pentas.
