From Governor Asa Hutchinson :
Hotels, motels, vacation rentals can no longer rent to recreational travelers from out of state.
All Businesses, manufacturing, construction companies, and places of worship have new social distancing protocols.
Unemployment up to 66,000. On Wednesday the hotline number had over 300,000 calls and the governor added 54 additional staff to help answer those questions.
Golf Courses are going to remain open. Advised to close the locker rooms, 1 person per cart and no touching of the pin at the green.
Masks – The CDC says if you are out in public wear masks in stores if you can not stay at least 6 feet from people.
Singing – Singing can produce droplets further than 10 feet and if you have any kind of singing groups, they should wear masks.
The federal correctional facility in Forrest City has 6 cases of COVID-19, 3 inmates and 3 employees.
The state has seen a 40% reduction in travel in the last month.
$10 million in extra funds will be available for rural hospitals.
