A Horn Lake Mississippi commercial truck driver was cited with violations early Thanksgiving morning after the Lawrence County Dispatch received numerous calls reporting his dangerous driving including one Imboden resident stating the White semi truck running through her yard damaging the truck and property.
One caller followed the Ryder truck and trailer to the Rest Area between Imboden and Black Rock reporting the truck had pulled off the highway there. Lawrence County Deputies responded to the area but the truck had already left. LCSO requested Hoxie units to be on the look out for the vehicle, at 5:07am Hoxie units advised they were out with a white semi matching the description on Hwy 63 in Hoxie. The semi was found to have recent damage on both sides of the truck and trailer.
The driver was checked by officers and found to be sleepy but not under the influence, he was cited for the damage among other violations and made to park the vehicle and rest.
No injuries were reported.
