At 9:03am Saturday morning the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department and AET Ambulance were paged to the scene of a one vehicle accident on Hwy 63 just outside of Imboden.
Firefighters arrived to find the badly damaged vehicle abandoned. Firemen searched the scene but no victim could be found. A witness informed firemen that the driver had been taken by private vehicle to seek medical attention.
Hwy 63 was clear for the most part until you entered the curve where the accident happened. That part of Hwy 63 was snow and ice covered. Firemen left the scene, conditions were dangerous on the roadside. The vehicle was well off the road, Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden was called to remove the vehicle.
