State Rep. James Ratliff of Imboden advised today of a House Bill that he co-sponsored. The Bill, HB-1009, introduced in the 88th General Assembly provides for public notification of Sex Offenders registered in another state. Once passed according to State Rep. Ratliff all sex offenders from out of state who come to Arkansas must register with law enforcement and it also allows for warnings to the public by law enforcement.
 
Other Bills being worked on by the State Rep. includes House Bill 1099 which is under consideration today would allow school to start the week of August 19th, even if the 19th fell on a Friday allowing semesters to contain close to the same amount of days.
