The highlight of the annual Bobbie Jean Memorial Library Christmas Party sponsored by the Imboden Friends of the Library was a visit from Santa Claus! All 91 of the local children who attended had a chance to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas this year. Every child recieved a free book from the local Friends of the Library. Children also had the opportunity to color Christmas coloring pages or play a bean bag toss game. The Friends group also served refreshments to everyone attending the party. The Friends of the Library purchase the books that are given away at the party with funds donated during their Pancake Breakfast fund raiser held in March.
Thanks go out to the Friends of the Library group, those in the community who donated refreshments, Dianne Childress for the bean bag toss games, Clayton “Buddy” Williams, and everyone involved in making the party a big success.
