According to Captain Jody Dotson of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office the Lawrence County Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a residence in Lynn reporting a man being stabbed.

Lynn First Responders, AET Ambulance of Imboden and deputies from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the scene by the Lawrence County Dispatch Center. Once at the residence, deputies found Jeremy Mullins with 22 stab wounds, none of which were life threatening. Witnesses told deputies that Mullins had been in a fight with a Jason Madrid Jones of Cherokee Village and Jones began stabbing Mullins with a screwdriver.

Jason Madrid Jones of Cherokee Village was arrested and charged with Battery II and transported to the Lawrence County Jail where Bond was set monday at $75,000.00 and a Circuit Court date of October 12th was issued.
