Ravenden Police Chief Tim McComas reports that on August 9th he stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Hwy 63 in Ravenden.

Chief McComas obtained permission to search the vehicle from the driver, Billie Elaine Brady, 32 of Imboden. During the search Chief McComas discovered several items of drug paraphernalia, including syringes and spoons containing residue and controlled substances.

Brady was arrested and taken to the Lawrence County Jail. Brady was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Expired Vehicle License, Fictitous Vehicle License, Failure to produce insurance and not wearing a seat belt.

Chief McComas of the Ravenden Police Department advised that the Third Judicial Task Force assisted in the arrest.
