On Wednesday September 30th, 2026, at approximately 11:10 A.M. the Clay County Sheriff’s Dept. went to 158 County Road 153, just outside Corning.
After they arrived, they finally got someone to answer the door at a shop building on the property. When the door opened, they came in contact with 46yr old. Logan D. Nidever and 45yr. ol Kristi Renee Vanpool. Mr. Nidever is on probation with a search waiver on file. During the search several illegal drug related items were found. Both subjects were taken into custody to be transported to the Clay County Detention Center and booked on the following charges: Possession of Meth or Cocaine LT 2GM and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
At Approximately 1:45 P.M. deputies went to a house next to the shop and made contact with 44yr. old Rebecca Nidever. She also had a search waiver on file and was subject to a search. When deputies entered the house, they saw several illegal drug related items in plain view. During the search, other illegal drug related items were found. She was also taken into custody and transported to the Detention Center. She was booked in on the following charges: Possession of Meth or Cocaine GT 10GM, But LT 200GM, Possession of SCH VI LT 4OZ, And Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
