From Sheriff Shane Russell:
Over the last three days, multiple law enforcement agencies have worked together and dedicated many hours to conducting compliance checks on registered sex offenders throughout Sharp Co.
This has resulted in multiple arrests involving violations of registration requirements, drugs, firearms, and other related offenses.
The operation is still ongoing, and I anticipate releasing a complete press release with additional information during the first part of next week.

Compliance Arrests Continue In Sharp County

Several more convicted offenders were booked into the Sharp County Detention Center earlier this week along with the 6 other arrest on Tuesday.
According to arrest documents, the following were booked into the SCSO Detention Center this week.
Jeffery Dean King, age 46 of Smithville was booked into the SCSO Detention Center on Wednesday, King is a Level 3 High Risk convicted offender according to ACIC Sex Offender Registry
Jimmy Sterling Wyatt, age 72 of Cherokee Village was booked into the SCSO Detention Center on Wednesday charged with Failure To Register/Failure To Comply With Reporting Requirements
Alexander Riddle Armstrong, age 33 of Cherokee Village was booked into the SCSO Detention Center on Tuesday. Armstrong was convicted of Sexual Assault 2nd Degree in February 2024
David Goldman, age 57 of Hardy was arrested and booked into the SCSO Detention Center on charges of Failure To Register/Failure To Comply With Reporting Requirements
All four remain in the custody of the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center awaiting their next court proceeding.

On Tuesday September 29th 2026, multiple convicted sex offenders in Sharp County were arrested and booked into the Sharp County Sheriff’s Detention Center.
According to arrest documents, the following were arrested and booked into the SCSO Detention Center.
Matthew Baldridge, age 62 of Cherokee Village was charged with Failure To Register/Failure To Comply With Reporting-Felony
Donald Jay Wutke, age 53 of Hardy was charged with Failure To Comply With Sex Offender Report/Registry-Felony
Lucas Clute, age 23 of Cherokee Village was booked on a charge of Failure To Comply With Sex Offender Report/Registry-Felony
Alvin Moore, age 51 of Cherokee Village was booked on a charge of Failure To Comply With Sex Offender Report/Registry-Felony
Jacky Lee Dalton, age 33 of Highland was booked on a charge of Failure To Comply With Sex Offender Report/Registry-Felony
Carl David Walls, age 69 of Ash Flat was booked on a charge of Failure To Comply With Sex Offender Report/Registry-Felony
All subjects are currently incarcerated in the SCSO Detention Center awaiting their next court hearing.
