A six-month investigation by the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force culminated Monday in the seizure of approximately 212 grams of methamphetamine, along with suspected drug-distribution equipment, cash, and a vehicle allegedly used in connection with drug trafficking.
On August 31, 2026, members of the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force, working in conjunction with the Izard County Sheriff’s Office, encountered Victoria Watts in Calico Rock, Arkansas. During the encounter, law enforcement officers found Watts in possession of approximately 212 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia consistent with the distribution of methamphetamine.
Law enforcement also seized approximately $500 in U.S. currency and a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC300, which investigators allege was used as a conveyance in connection with the trafficking of methamphetamine.
The investigation will be submitted to the 16th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review and consideration of a charge of Trafficking Methamphetamine, pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated § 5-64-
440(b)(1), a Class Y felony.
This arrest represents the culmination of months of investigative work directed at identifying and disrupting the distribution of methamphetamine in Izard County and throughout North Central Arkansas.
The Izard County Sheriff’s Office and the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force remain committed to aggressively investigating illegal narcotics activity and working together to remove significant quantities of dangerous drugs from our communities.
The investigation remains ongoing.
