The Arkansas State Police released its fatal crash report on Friday’s multi-vehicle accident on Hwy 63 near Sedgwick.

According to the report, a southbound 2014 Dodge Ram swerved toward the inside lane losing cargo causing a southbound 2021 Ford to cross the centerline striking a northbound GMC.

According to the report, the driver and passenger were both killed in the accident, the driver and passenger were listed as John Doe, male driver vehicle 3 and Jane Doe, female passenger vehicle 3.

The driver of the 2021 Ford, 25 year old Blaine Blasco and a passenger Keyasha Wheeler, age 24 of Searcy were both listed as injured in the accident.

The driver of vehicle 1 was never identified in the report.

Hwy 63 was closed for hours as rescue workers and officers were on scene.

Departments involved were Walnut Ridge Fire, Sedgwick Fire, Walnut Ridge Police, Black Rock Police, MedicOne Ambulance, Survival Flight, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas State Police.

The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police.
