On Saturday July 4th, 2026, at approximately 3:30 P.M. the Clay County Sheriff’s Dept. went to 706 West Main in Corning, to do a probation search.
41yr. old Ashley Lewis of Corning is on Felony Probation with a search waiver on file. She admitted to staying at the residence without the knowledge of her Probation Officer.
A search was conducted of the bedroom she was stayin in, where illegal items were found. She was then taken into custody and transported to the Clay County Detention Center. She was booked in on the following charges: Possession of Meth or Cocaine LT 2GM, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of SCH VI LT 4oz.
