Ray Eugene Wilson, 69, of Portia, passed away at his residence on Sunday, June 7, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on July 25, 1956, in Walnut Ridge, AR to William and Pauline (Darris) Wilson.
Ray was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a farmer. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be remembered for his hardworking spirit and love for his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Dub Wilson; mother, Pauline Wilson; sisters, Betty Wilson and Arline Beasley; grandchild, Colton Blazer; grandparents, Cecil & Bobby Wilson and Rev. James Henry and Zelma Darris.
Ray is survived by his wife of many years, Teresa C. Wilson; children: Angela (Robert) McDonald of Brookland, Kevin (Alexia) Wilson of Walnut Ridge, Deanna Blazer of Jonesboro; siblings, Sissy Wilson of Black Rock, Margaret (Woody) Jones of Black Rock, and William Wilson of Black Rock; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation and Service will be held at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge, AR.
Visitation: Tuesday June 9, 2026, from 6:00-8:00pm.
Funeral Service: Wednesday June 10, 2026, at 2:00pm.
Burial will follow at Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock, AR.
