Crystal Honeycutt accepted a plea deal last week on a charge of Aggravated Cruelty To A Dog, Cat Or Equine.
Originally Honeycutt was booked into the LCSO Detention Center on Bestiality and Cruelty To Animals charges, these charges were amended to Aggravated Cruelty To A Dog, Cat or Equine charge on March 11th 2026.
This week, Honeycutt accepted a plea deal where she pled to one count of Aggravated Cruelty To A Dog, Cat Or Equine charge. She received 60 months SIS (Suspended Imposition Of Sentence) with special provisions stating she can not own or be around animals.
Honeycutt’s husband, Daniel Wayne Honeycutt remains in the LCSO Detention Center on a similar charge.

Walnut Ridge Woman Arrested On Bestiality And Animal Cruelty Charges
An investigation by Walnut Ridge Police Department had lead to the arrest of Crystal Lynn Honeycutt.
Honeycutt was arrested on Thursday March 5th 2026 and booked into the LCSO Detention Center on charges of Bestiality and Cruelty To Animals.
In an email from Chief Ferrell of the Walnut Ridge Police Department, Ferrell expressed the need to inform the public that Crystal and Daniel Honeycutt are not permitted to own or possess any dogs. Chief Ferrell expressed “the goal here is to raise awareness to prevent animals from being harmed by individuals who should not own them.”
