A Powhatan couple was arrested and charged by Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies after they were seen on video stealing from the Imboden Farmers Market.
According to court documents, video surveillance shows on May 29th 2026, Jerry Barker and Mickie Jean Regina of Powhatan entered the self-serve business and retrieved plastic bags, filling them with items. After stealing multiple items, the two exited the store, got into their vehicle and left without paying.
Once the video was reviewed by officers, the couple was identified as Barker and Regina.
A warrant was issued and officers arrested the couple and charged both with Breaking Or Entering and Theft Of Property. They were transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center to await a court date and bond hearing.
Note, the two were arrested in May 2026 in Sharp County on Theft charges.

Two individuals from Powhatan were booked into the Sharp County Detention Center on Saturday May 9th according to online booking records.
Jerry Barker, age 64 of Powhatan was booked on charges of Theft Of Property and Mickie Jean Regina age 32 of Powhatan was booked on charges of Theft Of Property and Criminal Trespass.
Mickie Jean Regina was arrested again in Lawrence County just one day after being released on bond from Sharp County on new charges of Unauthorized Use Of A Credit Card and Theft Of Property.

Mickie Jean Regina, age 32 of Powhatan was arrested on Tuesday May 12th 2026 by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department and booked into the LCSO Detention Center charged with Fraudulent Use Of A Credit Card and Theft Of Property.
The arrest comes just one day after Regina was released from the Sharp County Detention Center after being charged on Saturday May 9th in Sharp County with Theft Of Property less than $1,000.
Mickey Jean Regina is currently incarcerated in the LCSO Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing and court date.
