Lawrence David Poe, 70 of Pocahontas, died April 9, 2026, in the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.
Born October 2, 1955, in Rochelle, IL, son of the late Elmer and Kathy Peters Poe. He was a jack of all trades and could work on anything, he retired from Centurylink Phone Company. He enjoyed collecting many things, working on cars, watching racing and sports, mainly routing on the Razorbacks.
He is preceded by his parents; and three brothers, Christopher, David and Michael.
Survivors include his two sons, Christopher Jordan Lee Poe (Samantha) of Sunderland, MD, and Lawrence Adam Poe of Pocahontas; two grandchildren, Margaret and Thomas; one brother, Daniel Poe (Judy) of Crystal Lake, IL; and a sister, Patricia Poe of Pocahontas; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 5 P.M. till 7 P.M. with a closing prayer from Chris Rice at 7 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel in Hoxie.
Interment of his cremains will be in the Gravesville Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
