On Monday April 6th, 2026 the Clay County Sheriff’s Dept. conducted a Suspended Imposition of Sentence Search at 90 County Road 324 Pollard, the residence of 64yr. old Michael R. Grissom. Mr. Grissom was showed his sentencing order paperwork, which stated he was subject to search at any time by law enforcement. Deputies conducted a search of Mr. Grissom where a clear baggy was found containing a white powder believed to be Meth. A small amount of Marijuana was also found. When a search was conducted of his residence several items of Drug Paraphernalia were found, along with more Meth. Mr. Grissom was taken into custody and transported to the Clay County Detention Center and booked in on the following charges. Possession of Meth or Cocaine With Purpose to Deliver LT 2GM, Possession of SCH VI With Purpose to deliver, Possession of SCH IV or V With Purpose to Deliver, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
