Investigators with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office were on scene of a suspicious fire for several hours on Tuesday that destroyed a Lawrence County home late Monday.
Black Rock Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire at 9 Lawrence 2450 (Baltz Addition) shortly before midnight on Monday.
Fortunately no injuries were reported but sadly the home was destroyed.
We spoke with the owner of the property who told Imbodenlive that a relative was living at the residence but is now displaced.
When asked about suspicions surrounding the fire, the property owner stated a person of interest was reported to authorities.
