The Wings of Honor Museum Spring Clean-up Sale, featuring hundreds of books and other items, begins March 9, and continues through Saturday, March 28. Proceeds from the sale helps with ongoing operational costs.
Books and magazines are priced to enable most anyone to add wanted volumes to their library. $10-off coupons for the sale are available at the door. Book categories include: aerodynamics, aircraft, aviation, children’s books, education, engineering, history, how-to, military, novels, textbooks. technical, various wars, and many more.
There are approximately 3,000 aviation magazines for sale (50 different titles). Some titles have complete sets spanning 30 to 40 years.
The museum, located at 70 Beacon Road at Walnut Ridge Regional Airport, is open 9 to 5, Monday through Saturday.
