Phillip Michael “Mike” Thielemier, 71, of Pocahontas, AR departed this life on March 8, 2026. He was born on December 18, 1954, to the late Joe and Marie Thielemier in Pocahontas.

Mike lived to make life memorable and fun. He was known for being “The famous Elvis”. He enjoyed singing and dancing, fishing, golfing, gardening and trips to Tunica every now and then. He always looked forward to cutting wood, especially when his grandsons came to help. He was so very proud of his four daughters, Lori, Amy, Stacey, and Melanie, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mike loved his family dearly and was always excited to tell everyone about them.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Marie Thielemier; brothers, Jim (Joyce) Thielemier, David (Mary) Thielemier, and Bill Thielemier and sisters, Janet (J.C.) Peters and Regina (Casey) Baltz along with his brother-in-law, Dr. Albert Baltz.

He is survived by his daughters, Lori (Joe) Steimel, Amy (James) Watson, Stacey (Shawn) Doan, and Melanie Tucker (Grant James); grandchildren, Johnathan (Elizabeth) Steimel, Colton Steimel, Blake Steimel, Alicia (Tyler) Kopp, Marissa (Zach) Gates, Payton Doan, Gracie Doan, Zane Tucker, Zander Tucker, and Zayden Tucker; great grandchildren, Josie Mae Gates and Anna Marie Kopp; brother, Patrick (Sharon) Thielemier and sisters, Marylou (Rick) O’Donell, Rose Baltz, and Judy (Sam) Shanlever. Mike also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews that knew his as Uncle Mike.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm with the Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm at the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. John Catholic Church with Father Stephen Elser officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Johnathan, Colton, and Blake Steimel, Payton Doan, Zane Tucker and Phillip Brown.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Allen Thielemier, Scott Thielemier, Brian Baltz, Jerry Lindsey, Roy Clark, Zayden Tucker, and Zander Tucker.
