Jonesboro Police along with emergency personnel responded to a shooting scene in the 2000 block of Belt Street.
When JPD officers arrived on scene they discovered a male with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim is deceased.
One person of interest has been taken into custody.
There is no immediate threat to the public at this time.
This is an active investigation.
