Investigators with the Walnut Ridge Police Department found probable cause to arrest Mary Ruth Tidwell of Hoxie on Tuesday February 17th 2026.
Tidwell is charged with Theft Of Property. According to affidavit, Tidwell is accused of taking $2000 cash from a purse in a clients home.

Mary Ruth Tidwell is currently incarcerated in the Lawrence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing and court date.
