Details in the Lee Ledbetter arrest on January 20th have been published after Ledbetter was charged with distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
The investigation involving file sharing on a peer-to-peer network resulted in a search warrant being executed Ledbetter’s Pocahontas residence.
Ledbetter is being held in the Randolph County Detention Center with his bail set at $125,000. If bail is met, Ledbetter has been ordered to have no access to internet-capable devices. Ledbetter’s next court appearance is scheduled for February 25, 2026.
According to court documents, Ledbetter is accused of sharing over 300 files of CSAM.
Investigators were able to confirm both the IP address and a physical address of the account holder.
A search warrant was executed on January 20th 2026 at the N. Thomasville address. A computer belonging to Ledbetter was seized by authorities, authorities say the computer contained CSAM material in a file named “Lee Ledbetter”.
Ledbetter is scheduled in Circuit Court on February 25th 2026.

49 year old, Lee Ledbetter of Pocahontas was arrested by Randolph County authorities and booked into the RCSO jail on Tuesday night.
Ledbetter is charged with:
Computer Child Pornography/Class B Felony
Ledbetter is currently incarcerated in the Randolph County Jail awaiting a bond hearing and court date.
