An incident on Saturday night left a Lawrence County woman, arrested after officers had to deploy a taser.
On Saturday night, a traffic stop shortly before 11:00pm escalated quickly before landing a Hoxie woman in the Lawrence County Detention Center.
Paula Christeen Gosha was stopped by Lawrence County Deputies when she refused to cooperate with authorities, during the interaction Gosha became more combative. The officer on scene requested additional units before tasing the woman to get her under control.
Gosha was arrested and transported to the LCSO Detention Center charged with:
Obstructing Governmental Operations
Open Container Containing Alcohol In Motor Vehicle
Public Intoxication
Resisting Arrest
Gosha is currently incarcerated in the Lawrence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing and court date.
