Multiple fire departments responded early Friday morning to a structure fire on with victims still reportedly inside the residence.
At 3:47am Sedgwick and Walnut Ridge Fire were dispatched to a residential structure fire on Smith Ave. in Sedgwick.
A female 911 caller stated she had escaped the fully involved fire but a male subject was still inside.
A medical unit from MedicOne Ambulance arrived and transported the injured female to a Jonesboro hospital for treatment.
Hoxie and Bono were both requested for assistance at the scene.
At 4:32am Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office CID was called to investigate.
The victim’s names have not been released at this time, this is still an ongoing investigation.
