Authorities report a former member of the Mountain Home Hurricanes Swim Team and Board President has been arrested for stealing more than $11,000 in funds from the organization.

Olivia Ann Norris, age 24 of Mountain Home is facing multiple felonies.

Norris was voted Board President in March of last year. As president, she had access to the organization’s bank account and debit card.

Authorities say after the end of the 2025 season, board members attempted to hold a meeting in August. However, despite repeated attempts by board members over several months, Norris did not plan or attend any meetings and did not respond to any board member’s requests regarding financials.

In November, a meeting was held without Norris and members reviewed the organization’s bank records, identifying multiple transactions that appeared inconsistent with a non-profit organization.

Authorities say no receipts, invoices or supporting documentation had been provided for the transactions.

Norris was questioned about the expenditures and provided documents that board members determined to be altered, fraudulent and did not accurately account for the transactions in question.

Bank records indicate that $11,486 in funds remain unaccounted for.

Board members told authorities the funds were either withdrawn or spent while Norris had access to the account and debit card.

Norris was arrested and was charged with theft of property, fraudulent use of credit or debit cards and falsifying business records.

Norris was released on $10,000 bond.
