Virginia Ann Sparrow, 89 of Walnut Ridge passed away January 28, 2026, in Jonesboro at the Flo & Phil Hospice House.
Born November 19, 1936, in Walnut Ridge, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Thelma Chastaine Hutson. She was united in marriage to James Sparrow. She worked most of her life as a legal secretary. Virginia was of the Baptist Faith and in her spare time she enjoyed playing Yahtzee and doing word searches.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, James; her granddaughter, Tosha Washington; and three siblings.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin (Lorry) Lee, and Tim (Lorna) Lee both of Walnut Ridge; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; her sister, Norma Davis of Walnut Ridge; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside Service will be Monday, February 2, 2026, at 2 PM in the Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery with Ronnie Hutson officiating. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
