On January 30, 2026, Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, Salem Police Department, Arkansas State Police, Arkansas Game and Fish, and the Arkansas Department of Corrections (ADC) were involved in a man hunt in the area surrounding Wood Valley Road.
Fulton County was contacted about Joseph Canulli who was wanted out of Indiana on felony warrants. When officers arrived Joseph fled into the wooded area. Other agencies arrived on the scene and an extensive search of the surrounding area ensued. Joseph was located by the ADC dog team and taken into custody.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all responding agencies, as well as those who assisted with drones.
