Harold White, 78 of Walnut Ridge, died Monday January 26, 2026 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born September 8, 1947 to Celestus William White and Hazel Lee Berry White. Harold was a well respected and loved member of our community. He worked for the Arkansas State Highway Department, the Walnut Ridge Fire Department, the City of Walnut Ridge, and was often seen helping the city and county in any way he could. He loved to fish when the opportunity presented itself. Harold was of Baptist belief.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Celestus and Hazel; sisters, Marshall Lee White and Glenda Sue (Perry) Brown of Milwaukee WI, brothers, Charlie White and Harry Clark, sister, paternal grandfather, James White; paternal grandmother, Ludy White; maternal grandmother, Edna Hill Taylor; stepfather, Floyd Taylor; sister-in-law, Freddie Jo White; uncle, Bill Berry; and nieces, Linda Susan White, Tina Young, Joyce Taggert, and Karen Johnson.
Harold is survived by a nieces & nephews, Juanita Baggett (sons Ryan Mansker, K.J. Baggett, & Nicholas Baggett) and Theresa Clayborn of Jonesboro, AR., Judy Whitaker of Conway, AR, Derek Johnson of Greenbriar, AR., Byron A. Cleveland of Walnut Ridge, AR., Kim Johnson of Colorado and Carolyn Outlaw of Springfield, MO, Bill Brown, Marsha (Jim) Kroeger of Milwaukee, WI, great nephew, Kiotti; cousins, Fayth Hill Washington, J.B. and Marshall of West Memphis and LeRoy Johnson of Jonesboro, AR.
Visitation will be Monday February 2, 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm Tuesday February 3, 2026 with interment to follow at Scott Cemetery in Walnut Ridge under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Homes of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, Arkansas.
