George “Scooter” Edgar Koettel, Jr.,42 of Imboden, Arkansas suddenly passed from this life on Monday, January 19, 2026 in Black Rock, Arkansas. He was born on April 14, 1983 to Sherry and George Edgar Koettle, Sr. at Blytheville Air Force Base. Scooter was united in marriage with Krystal Patterson on April 1, 2024. Together they have 5 children that they love more than anything in the world. He always put his family first because he was such a family oriented person. Scooter loved music especially rock ‘n roll. He was a handy man and was an excellent mechanic. He loved all animals and was in touch with nature. He will be missed by so many. He was a loving father, husband, son, brother, and friend.
Preceding him in death are six grandparents, four great grandparents, and eight aunts and uncles.
Left to mourn his death are his wife: Krystal Patterson Koettel of the home; daughters: Jasmine Koettel of Ravenden Springs; Chasity (Neal) Sanders of Imboden; Terralynn Huttig of Hoxie; sons: Cameron Huttig of Hoxie and Korbin Koettel of the home; his parents: George Edgar Koettel Sr and Sherry Lou Evans Koettel of Imboden; his sister: Barbara (Wesley) Ellis of Walnut Ridge; his brother: Shawn (Ashley) Koettel of Norfolk, Virginia; and many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Chapel of House-Gregg Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
