Randolph County Sheriff’s Department is asking local livestock owners to help us keep accurate records for the safety and identification of animals in our community.
If you own cattle or other livestock, please call dispatch and provide the following information:
• Owner’s full name
• Best phone number to reach you
• Address and/or exact location of the property where the livestock are kept
• Type and description of livestock (cattle, horses, goats, etc.)
• Any identifying marks such as tag colors/numbers, brands, ear notches, markings, or other unique features used to identify ownership
This information helps us quickly identify livestock and return them to their owners if they become loose or are found off property.
