The Jonesboro Police Department arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal Christmas Eve shooting.
JPD arrested Mario Jashon Stafford, age 29, of Jonesboro. Stanford is held in the Craighead County Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
Stafford was arrested in connection with the Dec. 24th shooting death of Michael Tatum, age 58, in the 300 block of State Street.
Court documents show that Stafford was arrested by JPD in 2015 and charged with 1st Degree Murder in the home invasion death of Kayla Vinson. Two years later, the charges were dropped.
