Roger Dale Tinsley, 76 of Walnut Ridge passed away December 8, 2025, at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

Born November 27, 1949, in Washington, son of the late Taylor and Virginia Perry Tinsley. Roger was a farmer and outdoorsman; he was awarded Lawrence County farm family of the year and served as the president of the Farm Service Board of Directors. He was active in his community serving on the Lawrence County Farm Bureau Board, Lawrence County Conservation District, Running Water Draining Board, and the Lawrence County FSA Board. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Walnut Ridge.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Starling and Nona Faye Dusen,

Survivors include his wife Peggy Tinsley of Hoxie; one son, Ben (Charmine) Tinsley of Montpelier, OH; one daughter, Robyn (Nathin) Bonner of Pocahontas; three grandchildren, Tucker, Haven, and Connor; two sisters, Pat Tinsley and Mary (Don) Hawkins both of Walnut Ridge; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 2 P.M. in the First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge with Robert Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park. 

Visitation is Monday evening from 5 P.M. till 7 P.M. in the First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
