Lawrence County Deputies intercepted a theft suspect on Saturday morning after an alleged fuel theft.
The suspect was stopped at Hwy 63 and McClamrock in Portia by LCSO deputies.
Paul Keaton Goodson was booked into the Lawrence County Detention Center on charges of :
Driving on suspended DL
Criminal trespassing
Expired vehicle tags
No proof of liability insurance
Theft of property
Goodson is currently incarcerated in the Lawrence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing and court date.
The suspects vehicle and trailer were removed by 412 Towing.
