As many of you already know, I’m running for Sloan-Hendrix School Board, Position 1.
I’m a lifelong resident of the Imboden area and a proud 1996 graduate of Sloan-Hendrix High School. My wife of 27 years, April Brown, and I are blessed with four children. Three of them have already graduated from Sloan Hendrix and started families of their own blessing us with four grandchildren. All while our youngest, Rylee Brown is a sophomore honor student who is very active in athletics.
The decisions made by our school board have a lasting impact on our students, teachers, and community. Indicating why this opportunity is so important to me. I care deeply about our school and want to do my part to ensure it continues to grow and thrive.
My opponent is a friend, and I have nothing but respect for him. This isn’t about competition — it’s about commitment to our students and community.
If elected, I promise to work hard, listen carefully, and make thoughtful decisions in the best interest of our school and our kids.
