On November 13, 2025, officers with the Corning Police Departmentand a deputy with the Clay County Sheriff’s Department conducted a parole search on E. 3rd St. in Corning, Arkansas.
During a search of the residence, a clear plastic baggie containing a crystal substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine was located.
Matthew Davis, 37, of Corning was then transported to the Clay County Detention Center and charged with 5-64-443 Felony possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently awaiting a bond hearing.
