The Northeast Arkansas Chorale will be getting into the holiday spirit on Saturday, Nov. 15, when the group presents “A Christmas Prologue.”  The concert, featuring a full choir and orchestra, will be held in Williams Baptist University’s Manley Chapel starting at 7:00 p.m.

“A Christmas Prologue” will feature Christmas classics, along with some new arrangements. Among the songs to be performed are “Deck the Halls,” “The Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth,” “Mary Did You Know?” and “Still, Still, Still.”

The audience will also be able to join in for a Christmas carol sing-along featuring “Joy to the World,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “Silent Night.”

The NEA Chorale is a 70-voice choir composed of voices from all around the region, including students from WBU’s Williams Singers. They will be joined for the Christmas concert by a 10-piece string orchestra. The chorale is directed by Dr. Trent Broussard.

The public is invited to “A Christmas Prologue.” Cost of admission is $10 per person with a $20 maximum for families.  WBU students will be admitted free, while faculty and staff will be charged $10 maximum per family.
