Donald “Clay” McEntire, 80 of Hoxie passed away October 31, 2025, at Lawrence Hall in Walnut Ridge.
Born July 22, 1945, in East Prairie, MO, to the late Alvin and Paralee Holder McEntire. He was a veteran of the US Army and worked for Terminix as well as being a handyman. Clay enjoyed spending his time reading old westerns.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Rajeana; four brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include his son, Cody McEntire of Hoxie; one granddaughter, Autumn (Blaze) Sheffield of Hoxie; one great granddaughter, Cinder Sheffield; one brother, Steve (Margie) McEntire; and many other relatives and friends.
