Strawberry-Hillcrest High School will host its annual Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 11, focusing on the theme of “Community and Service.” The 2025 function will feature veterans along with active-duty service personnel in key roles. Student speakers will take part, along with live music provided by the school’s elementary music program and special guest artists. A unique highlight of this year’s tribute assembly will be an original poetry performance written to honor military veterans.
Since the theme of this year’s event deals with serving the community, Hillcrest is also inviting all police officers, firefighters, paramedics and first responders to attend this year’s tribute along with veterans and their families. Officials with the assembly say the goal is to honor all those at home and throughout the world by recognizing individuals willing to give back to the people in their lives.
The Hillcrest High School Veterans Day Assembly will take place on Tuesday, November 11, at 9:30 AM in the Hillcrest Elementary School Gym, at 180 School Street in Lynn, Arkansas. The Veterans Day Assembly is a free event and open to the public, but assembly organizers urge visitors to arrive early, especially those in need of physical assistance.
