A Flippin woman, 39 year old KELLY NICOLE MOORE, was arrested this afternoon, October 31st, after a brief vehicle pursuit in a stolen vehicle.
At approximately 12:36 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a complaint call at Madden Sanitation at 2247 Hwy 126 North concerning a female who was loitering on the property. She was said to be driving a white 4 door Dodge 4 x 4 pickup truck and was said to be KELLY MOORE.
Earlier in the day, the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office had alerted area law enforcement to be on the look out for a stolen vehicle from their county, a 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck, and listed KELLY MOORE as the suspect in that theft.
As deputies arrived on scene, MOORE fled from them in the stolen vehicle, going down Baxter CR 6 (Tucker Cemetery Road). Additional deputies and the Arkansas State Police began to respond to assist with the pursuit. The pursuit lasted only about one minute, with the vehicle coming to a stop after it ran out of fuel near the intersection of Baxter CR 6 and Shamrock Lane. The driver, KELLY MOORE, was then arrested and taken into custody.
KELLY MOORE was transported to the Baxter County Detention Center and incarcerated on charges of:
Fleeing by Vehicle – Felony
Theft by Receiving – Felony
She has a $5,000 bond on those charges and is being transferred to the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office to face more serious charges of Burglary and Theft in that county.
