Deputies arrested 35 year old WESLEY GRANT BRAY Wednesday morning, October 29th, on various charges after responding to a report of a domestic disturbance at 5555 Hwy 62 East. At approximately 5:30 AM, the Sheriff’s Deputies made contact with a female victim who had gone to a retail establishment in Mountain Home to meet with deputies about the incident. She reported that her husband, identified as WESLEY GRANT BRAY, had discharged a firearm, shooting a hole into the wall of the residence, and then left the residence in an intoxicated condition.
While deputies had been enroute to the call, a second call was received reporting that a man was in the highway in the same area as the residence, throwing rocks at vehicles and jumping into oncoming traffic. At approximately 5:56 AM, deputies found this man, identified as WESLEY BRAY, and placed him under arrest. BRAY claimed he had been involved in a motor vehicle traffic accident BRAY’s vehicle, a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox, was found on Baxter CR 419. He had crashed through a fence, and the vehicle came to rest in some shrubbery.
Upon inquiring further of the domestic incident, the victim stated that BRAY had gained possession of her handgun. She alleged that multiple times BRAY had pointed the handgun in the direction of her and their infant son, making paranoid and irrational statements about someone coming there to kill him. When the victim said she was calling the police, BRAY took her phone away and would not return it until he left the residence.
When deputies went to the residence, they observed a bullet hole in the bedroom wall. The handgun was not located. While in the residence, in plain view, deputies observed what they suspected to be methamphetamine. This was taken into evidence and weighed. It was determined to be approximately 115.5 grams of meth.
