While everyone else is figuring out what to wear, the officers of the Pocahontas Police Department will be rocking our year-round costumes — badge, vest, and all.
As everyone gets ready for a night full of costumes, candy, and fun, we want to remind parents and kids to stay alert and play it safe.
Trick-or-Treat Safety Tips:
Stay in well-lit areas and walk in groups.
Only visit homes with lights on.
Have an adult check candy before eating.
Watch for traffic and use crosswalks when possible.
If you see something suspicious, give us a call.
