According to Sheriff Charley Melton, the following individuals were incarcerated last week. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Brenton McCurley, 57 of Wideman, was arrested on October 6th for contempt of Court out of the Izard County Drug Court.

Christopher Medley, 47 of Batesville, was arrested on October 7th on a felony bond revocation out of the Izard County Circuit Court.

James Henry Howell, 60 of Dolph, was arrested on October 7th for possession of firearms by certain persons and probation/parole violations. Howell has also been charged as a habitual offender.

Edwin Garcia, 29 of Batesville, was arrested on October 10th for driving left of center, no driver’s license, open container of alcohol, and DWI.

Bryan Cain, 56 of Melbourne, was arrested on October 11th for reckless driving, open container of alcohol, DWI, and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

James Baney, 47 of Sidney, was arrested on October 12th on a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for failure to appear.

Samantha Cohn, 37 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on October 13th on a warrant out of Fulton County for failure to appear.
