Law enforcement and emergency personnel have responded to two suicides in Lawrence County in the last 24 hours.

Hoxie Police responded to a report of a suicide in the 300 block of Ringle Street at 3:27 pm on Wednesday after a suicide victim was discovered by a family member. Hoxie Fire, MedicOne Ambulance and Hoxie PD investigators were all dispatched to the scene, shortly after investigators on scene requested the Lawrence County Coroner.

On Tuesday evening, emergency personnel from the Strawberry and Lynn Fire Departments and law enforcement from Lawrence County and Arkansas State Police responded to a victim with a self inflicted wound on Lawrence 292 outside Strawberry.
